Than Academy, a non-profit educational organization founded in 2006 by Salman Kan, providing "Free, global education for all, everywhere." The organization broadcasts small video tutorials in YouTube format, as well as provides practical exercises for teachers and other educational tools for free.
Creation story:
In 2004, Kahn was teaching his niece Nadia while she was doing her math tutorial through Yahoo! When Khan's other cousins needed similar help, he decided that it would be more effective for him to create a tutorial on YouTube. Leaving his position as an analyst at Connective Capital Management in 2009, he focused on creating manuals, which he published under the name "Than Academy".
The program is funded by donations. Than Academy is a non-profit organization sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Ana ո John Doner, the Brazil-based Lehman Foundation, and Google.

a library with 6500 videos covering various topics. These videos are licensed under a Creative Commons (BY-NC-SA) 3.0 license.
Automated exercises with continuous assessment. The exercise program is available under an MIT license.
Technical format:
All videos are available on the Kan Academy website, where there are other features about progress, practical exercises, various tools for teachers in public schools. The site can be accessed through Google or Facebook accounts if you do not want to create a Qan Academy account. The materials are also available through Khan Academy's telephone software, which can be downloaded for free from the App Store և Windows Store.
